ABOUT ME
I'm Ten, the writer of this blog! My real name is Antti Törmänen, and I'm ranked as an EGF 6 dan player. If you play on KGS, you might know me there as Tien.
I started playing go in spring 2002 when I was 12 years old, and have since then participated in dozens of tournaments both in my home country of Finland, and in other parts of the world. My most notable accomplishments include fifth place in the World Youth Goe Championship 2005, winning the Finnish championships 2008 and 2010, 18th place in the World Amateur Go Championship 2009, 3rd place in the Hamburger Affensprung tournament 2010, and winning the London Open Go Congress 2010 and the rapid tournament of the European Go Congress 2011. I was also insei at the Nihon Ki-in from October 2011 to April 2012.
