I’m Ten, the author of this blog! My real name is Antti Törmänen, and I am a 1 dan professional at the Japan Go Association.

I started playing go in spring 2002 when I was 12 years old, and have since then participated in dozens of tournaments both in my home country of Finland, and in other parts of the world. My most noteworthy amateur accomplishments include fifth place in the World Youth Goe Championship 2005, winning the Finnish championships in 2008, 2010 and 2012, winning the London Open Go Congress 2010 and the rapid tournament of the European Go Congress 2011, and second place in the European Open Go Championship 2013.
